Medical laboratory work environments throughout Sisters of St. Francis Health Services, Inc. (SSFHS) range from small STAT labs to medium-to-large hospital labs to a very large, free-standing core laboratory. We offer a complete complement of testing opportunities to our medical technologists and technicians, including chemistry, hematology and coagulation, bloodbank, microbiology and flow cytometry/molecular biology. Employees with SSFHS have the opportunity to develop their skills through education and training in all areas of testing, as well as the opportunity for personal commitment and service to others.
Medical technologists and technicians are responsible for performing waived, moderate and high complexity tests in accordance with all established procedures, quality controls and regulations. The laboratory staff works closely with the management team and pathologists to ensure the highest level of patient care and client services.
Our desire is to recruit and retain dedicated medical laboratory professionals who, together with other enthusiastic healthcare professionals, will form a network of caring individuals who are continuing the ongoing ministry of healing to the communities our facilities serve.
If your personal philosophy fits with our view of healthcare and you would like further information on how you, as a professional medical technologist or technician, can become part of the Sisters of St. Francis Health Services' team, please contact us. | |
